Lip Sync Task

this is the lip sync task, that was done in the theatre to oasis wonderwall. the song was one that every one in the group knew and it is an easy song to mime to so the editing process was quite simple. the software used for the editing of the video was final cut on mac which allows a user to place the video clip on one track, delete the audio of the camera and lay in the real song along side the visual clip.
when we where in the theatre we played the real oasis song and then when we got back to the editing it was all in time. we where also able to shoot a number of different shots that where all in sync with the track.

Photoshop Introduction Task 2

This is the second photoshop task that I have done. Add A Transparent Text Area To An Image is the task title. i believed this task went well as shown by the snapshots, I followed the instructions fully and came out with a good photo of the new york world trade center with the text included as part of the image. the images below show the development of my task and how i did all the elements in making the final image.

Photoshop Introduction Task 1

my final image for the introduction to photoshop task

This was a task I did using Photoshop. I could use any image I wanted to and I had to mask the image behind a block of text. I choose to do my task with a theme of the white house and I had a clear set of instructions to follow showing me how to use the different elements of Photoshop needed to make the image happen. When I had created what the task wanted me to create I thought I would go a step further and add a third image of which I would hide the background image, this image was of the presidential seal, all I did was remove the plain white background needed to see the text from the background layer with the seal picture to lay my text on top of which looks though to the background picture showing some of the white house. I believe because of this it looks more effective than the original layout.

here are some snap shots of stages I got up to in the development of my image.
